What is The Malasag Childrens Fund

The Malasag Children’s Fund is a joined charity project of both drugstore 'add');win.focus();return false">Active Discovery Designs and Active Discovery Tours and sponsored by companies and individuals related to Active Discovery. The project is dedicated to the poor and maybe unfortunate, but happy and enthusiastic children of Purok Molave, Malasag, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.

How did The Malasag Childrens Fund start

This project started in 2006 and was held for the first time as a Christmas party on December 22^nd in that year. The tradition continued from that day up to the present. Every year since, various fun games for the children are being held and snacks and gifts are given to them. Click here to see the children during this very joyous day.

Future plans

In addition to the yearly Christmas Party, we want to extend the Malasag Childrens Christmas Charity Project into something bigger. One of the major ideas is to help children go to better schools, which often is not possible due to high cost for higher education in The Philippines. Another idea is creating a mini library in Molave that would contain updated and new books and school supplies. We would also want to donate more personal computers as part of our Computer Literacy Programs, as we did before.

We will only be successful in doing these things if we have support and donations from people abroad who are willing to help and will make the childrens of Malasag truly happy.
